nice, i guess that explains ed's "thanks to the strokes for being the strokes" line on the webcast. good luck finding a record of that.

watch it here....but, just to warn you, the audio is absolutely terrible at the beginning but gets better and Eddie does some sweet scissor like arobic jumps throughout the song.

PJ will probably always be my favorite band, but the Strokes have been my favorite band of the moment for some time now, so all this PJ/strokes stuff is just incredibly exciting for me. I flipped out after seeing Julian and Fab in the balcony during the Letterman broadcast.. this is just that much better.

words cannot express how much I think the strokes stink. I gave This is It a chance, and that was my reaction to it - this is it? I threw it in my trash where it belongs.

Sorry if there is another thread, I did a search and didn't see one..

Is there an MP3 of this somewhere??

http://www.rollingstone.com/news/story/ ... 00th_issue

EDIT: found it on youtube.. this is probably really old news, sorry.. good audio/poor video version:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJhJrGT6 ... e%20vedder

EDIT: Here's a version with BAD audio, but AWESOME video... maybe you can mute this one, and play the audio from the other one, and have a good experience ;)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwTd3y2v ... e%20vedder

EDIT: I tried the mute one, unmute other one idea, and it worked great! tell your friends! just have to do a little bit of syncing by playing with the seek

EDIT: if you listen to the end of the "BAD audio" version, Julian does a little bit of Foo Fighters "There goes my hero!" as Eddie leaves the stage.. pretty cool

no prob.. if anyone does know of another thread where this was dicussed, I would be happy to see a link to that thread.. I would love to troubleshoot why my search didn't work

and if it wasn't discussed yet, I'd be shocked

EDIT: nevermind I found it finally

http://forums.theskyiscrape.com/vie ... ie+strokes

BUT, they don't link to the higher quality audio youtube video.. although they do link to MP3's here:
http://jeddeth.blogspot.com/

EDIT: the yousendit link referenced from his page is dead.. if anyone could repost the MP3 somewhere we'd appreciate it
