there is music out there other than pearl jam.
fabolous music that makes the ears tingle and mind spy forth like something similar to the experience of hearing pearl jam for the first time.
some of these bands are better than pearl jam. yes...repeat after me: there are bands better than pearl jam.
i both apologize and celebrate for breaking the news, and i hope you share the endeavor of hearing new music with me and your fellow posters.

I usually only post in this forum coz I don't have much time and I come to this board to talk about PJ and find PJ related info and news. There are many other bands that I am into and listen to (I disagree that PJ is not the best, but that is my opinion) but does that mean that I shouldn't share my enjoyment of this band and this music? If I had enough time to blow everyday, well...

Hi CB. Currently I am not listening to PJ. I am listening to the new You Am I cd, Raconteurs (fucking awesome), Death Cab, Zepplin, Eagles of Death Metal, Soundgarden, Peeping Tom and Mr Bungle. Do I make a big deal about it? No. And I am not turning this into a pissing contest.
I think we are generally relaxed (ie. those that post here). What you get from this and what I get from this board are different things. I have friends I talk to about lots of bands and music and religion and politics and life - my life is serious and the job / study I do is serious. I come here to be able to talk with people about Pearl Jam. I do not get that other places - it is a nice escape to chat about the best band around .
