I always just assumed that a garden of stone was a graveyard.

I always figured the character was a bit of a Unibomber, lived out in the woods and thought of the massive sprouting cities as 'gardens of stone.'

I don't remember when it was but it must have been one of this years shows, so that's probably right.

I have difficulty seeing how anyone could think it was anything else if they were listening to the lyrics.
