I guess it makes sense that Slip 'n Slides are made out of slick plastic, 'cause sandpaper doesn't seem like it would really do the trick.

the deep part of that is that the slip n slide reflects the materialistic of the culture by neglecting the sandpaper... because the slick surface makes it possible to keep the person sliding safely without damaging their outward appearance, but sandpaper would tear away the outer surface and expose the inner workings that really make us human... the slicker the slip n slide the less we have to face up to our insides
