What a sharp contrast to the version that was released.... the verses sound like country music and the chorus is the usual PJ sound. I kinda dig it.

i'm not sure. its one of those taboo things here, but youre not asking for a download, so this might be ok.

at this point it's a bit like the leaks were. Don't ask for them, but you can talk about them. This isn't quite the same thing as the I'm still here recording. At least that's how i see it. It's kind of like the light years demo is on prohbation.

I like the demo version more than the studio version. They chose poorly.

This is my all time favorite version of any song ever. I just really like how it slowly builds and then suddenly explodes. The guitar at the beginning is so beautiful and ed's lyrics and voice are at his most intimate. And then I absolutely adore how it collapses towards the middle. I would love them to resurrect this, unfortunately I don't ever see that happening. Oh and Puzzles and Games is a great song title.

We'll i certainly agree with the last statement, i much prefer the demo version. I believe that there was some concern at the time that it sounded a little too much like Given To Fly.

Not to start anything, but how is it ok to discuss this and not "I'm still here"? I don't get the difference...

anyone have the Rockfords single "Waiting"

2 of the tracks on there have similar riffs to the Light Years demo...

Im undecided which version i like more...
the album one is perfect...
but the Demo is pretty damn cool too.
