where do they go from here? "Pearl Jam" was a little more rocking than riot act so what does everyone think will happen next??? I hope they get into a concept album and come up with something unconventional that still does well commericaly and lets everyone know music isnt all about flashy videos or lip synching... I can just hope they expand a little more and go all out... pull a quadrophenia on us

Hopefully something I don't expect...I hope they take time to release another one, just like they did with Avocado.

Yeah, they should just take their time inbetween albums from now on, the difference shows on this new one.

It's even worse when they take their time?

Wrong. Something tells me they already have a few slower songs for the follow up written and we'll see a new album by the end of 2008. I could very wrong though.

Seriously, I hope they somehow release some of the out-takes for this album first... doubt that will happen though. I would love for something surprising that takes Inside Job's contemplation and expands it with more epic pieces... Give them all space. Maybe a concept album or/and double album...

You know what sucks? Knowing that PJ will never be able to make anything more than a really, really fucking good Rock record. Everytime they've tried to branch out to something experimental, they've failed pretty miserably at it.

So, i'm looking forward to another collection of good songs, and nothing more.

I would love to see like a rock opera or something like that. Maybe expand on the 'mini-opera' of Eddie's. That'd be cool, especially if the songs are as good.

Ahh...you make it sound so bad. There's not too much that is truly "experimental" anymore without such band falling off the commercial map, and Pearl Jam's not gonna do that. They definitely have the ability though...
