Since I saw a pearl jam show? It's been so fucking long since I even had any expectations of seeing a pearl jam show that I can't even remember anything about the thread where I do my bitching about never getting to see pearl jam shows.

I haven't seen a pearl jam show since before I joined RM in November 2003.

The last time I saw a pearl jam show, bittorrent was a new technology that I learned to use in order to download official pearl jam boots, printed on actual silver CDs.

The last time I saw a pearl jam show, there were people who thought the Iraq war was a good idea, and were willing to say so at a pearl jam show.

Since the last time pearl jam played a show within 4 hours of where I live, they have played over 25 shows within 4 hours of New York City.

It was 6 years and 27 days between my first and second pearl jam shows. I will soon be surpassing that length of time since the last time I saw a pearl jam show.


Would I still be bitching if I didn't really like pearl jam anymore? Interesting question...

How long did this take you to figure out? Can we get an audit?

One time a couple years ago I actually counted. It was 25 then.

What made you cut off at 4 hours? Did they play 4 hours 2 minutes from your house?

3 hours is about how far I can travel to see a show without having to a) buy a plane ticket, and b) stay overnight. With kids and a job, I need to be able to drive home after a show if the wife will let me go.

She did let me travel to see Eddie in Santa Cruz last year, but that was a BIG exception, and only because a bunch of things fell into place perfectly to allow that to happen.

4 hours is about the closest a show has been to me in the past 6 years (Phoenix to Vegas).

i think you're fucked again this fall. the odds the west coast shows go through arizona are slim to none.

lol i know they skipped the south. actually i kind of forgot. i dont have a wife or kids so i just fly to see them whenever they tour. also, arizona is not the south. if i was in a band i'd skip the south too. permanently.

Arizona's not "t-e-h South", but it's southern. Tucson's kinda North Mexico.

I live in Tucson too. I drove out to the 2006 San Diego show. We need a Phoenix show this year though!!!!

also, when they start waiving confederate flags around ill consider them the south...arizona is nevada without gambling yet has gambling
