Take the vocals off of Wasted Reprise and sing the Red Mosquito outro ("If I had known then, what I know now...") Hear the similarities? It's the same chord progression.

Now the question is: Is this implied, coincidence, or blooper?

probably coincidence, since boom wrote the music and he had nothing to do with RM, but given the similarity of the message it could be intentional.

that BOOM is so unoriginal, as if we wouldn't notice, this is the only song I haven't heard yet and that's not a request I just have no idea what the fuck I'm talking about when it comes to this song

In and of itself the song does little for me, but it's a great bridge from "Gone" to "Army Reserve." I like catching my breath, so to speak, after the former's dynamics.

I can see them playing this over the PA to open the show. Maybe without Ed's vocals though...

To let you come down off "Gone" and settle in for the last three epics.

re·prise

1. Music a. A repetition of a phrase or verse. b. A return to an original theme.

This reminds me of something I'd hear on a Jethro Tull album.... It's a nice little touch.

It is a nice way to catch your breath but it's not like come back has such a tough begining that this is really necessary. I think it's an important thematic element to the album that they want to remind the listener of. It's also fascinating to see how they could have taken life wasted in such a totally different direction

Great track :)

Usually a reprise is after a huge epic song on an album. I don't think Life Wasted is epic, but it is good.

See South's album From Here On In.

The reprise for All in for Nothing is BEFORE the actual tune :?

This is almost as bad as I had expected it to be. The lyrics aren't strong or profound enough to warrant a reprise, and while the music is cool it seems like a forced interlude. I really don't understand the point of it.

Army Reserve more than makes up for it though.
