there goes my love, there goes her heart
and that's not the last of it, or the worst part
there goes my eves, down my downspout
there goes my car, and my house
cuz i'm out of here
cuz i'm out
i'm not through sleeping
i'm not through sleeping around
i'm not through sleeping
i'm not through sleeping around
there goes the pop, there goes my ears
and i've been around so long, just not here
there goes the wings, of my grey dove
there goes the world, i've been of
cuz i'm out of here
i'm not through sleeping
i'm not through sleeping around
i'm not through sleeping
i'm not through sleeping around
it's not the way that it seems
but yeah i know that i like it
inside this mixed up dream
yeah i know that i like it
knock off the shirt, knock off the gloves
knock off the price, of my love
knock off this deer, in my headlights
knock off my seed, and my wife
cuz i'm out of here
cuz i'm out
i'm not through sleeping
i'm not through sleeping around
i'm not through sleeping
i'm not through sleeping around
i'm not through sleeping
i'm not through sleeping around
i'm not through sleeping
i'm not through sleeping around
i'm not through sleeping
i'm not through sleeping around
i'm not through sleeping...

I fucking love this song. It's actually much better than the rest of the album.

Decent song, but the album lacks. I remember reading an interview in which Stone was bitter that Pearl Jam didn't really want to record any of these songs for one of their albums. I don't blame them one bit.

Lyrically they are all fine examples of why Stone should stick to the music. Theres not a song amongst Bayleaf that should even crack it onto Lost Dogs let alone anywhere else.

Was there a song called Cadillac on there? That one seemed OK.

I'm not saying that Stone can't write lyrics; I think Rival is a great song lyrically. All I'm saying is that none of these songs are really that good, and yes, Stone's musical ability, overall, is much more accomplished than his ability as a wordsmith.

I agree. It's the only song I ever listen to from that album, and it's much better than anything he's written for pearl jam in some time. The rest of the album bores me.

Yeah, especially "Bore Me".

Sorry, I had to do it.

I actually like the album, I just think "Pigeon" blows the rest of the songs away. That doesn't mean there aren't some killer tracks on there, like "Unhand Me".
