Decent song, but the album lacks. I remember reading an interview in which Stone was bitter that Pearl Jam didn't really want to record any of these songs for one of their albums. I don't blame them one bit.

Lyrically they are all fine examples of why Stone should stick to the music. Theres not a song amongst Bayleaf that should even crack it onto Lost Dogs let alone anywhere else.

Really? I know this is just your opinion but Sweet Lew made Lost Dogs for Crist sakes. I love Bayleaf and still play it from time to time.

I don't know, but I really liked the solo tracks Stone did a few years ago.

This should be moved to OB.

Fits is such a better song than this one.

I wish PJ would actually head in to that direction more. I can hear Ed singing it in my head and it sounds marvelous :luv:

Bore Me and Bayleaf are great tunes. The rest is still pretty good, and worthy of a listen now and then.

That song Jorge posted is amazing, and there isn't a song on Bayleaf I don't want to listen to.

Yeah, it does bum me that he never had a follow up release.
Your Flames and Little One are excellent songs.

"It's definitely not anyone boring me. I think the reference to "bore" is all about "carry," as in, it's more about somebody carrying you rather than actually boring you. That's something you can think about, and go look at that one again, although it is pretty vague. That one is probably the most personal one for me, and it's not religious. It's not at all. It's something else", Stone Gossard

"It's 'Bore' like 'Carry' if that means anything. That would be the only kind of hint I could reveal about that. 'Bore' as in the past tense of 'Bear'. I probably wrote that a year ago", Stone Gossard.

I belive not...

Anchors is my favorite song of Bayleaf and it's a pretty good record in its own right. Time has been kind to this one.
