-I remember reading a review of Yield and the critic wrote that he thought this song meant Ed had giving up attempting to make a difference by way of interpreting this line,"i'm through with screaming." It was one of the worst reviews I have ever read...faithful came on my media player, kind of brought up this memory.

One of my favorite PJ Live memories is when Ed introduced this song at the 3rd show in Mansfield in 2003 and said that it was specifically saved for the third night........looking forward to next summer!!!

So today we were learning about adjectives ending on able, ible and ful in English class and that made me think...

Is there any explanation or interpretation why Faithfull is spelled with 2 l's?

It could be the obvious "full of faith" statement the song is making.

Or it could be that Ed can't spell faithful.

Ed creates his own words, that filthy little bugger. When I was in high school and I bought Vitalogy, I remember thinking "why did he make Betterman one word as opposed to two"? He must have had trouble in English classes.
