it's good until the last minute. That's when it really shines.

the ability of the lyrics and the music to capture how certain families must feel right now is amazing. i've never let my emotions get outta hand when listening to this band, but this song has such potential to be one of their best ever. the sadness is almost unbearable for me.

inside job takes too long to build to be a single.

if i keep holding out
will the light shine through
under this broken roof
it's only rain that i feel
i've been wishing out the day
oh oh oh
come back

i have been planning out
all that i'd say to you
since you slipped away
know that i still remain true
i've been wishing out the days
please say that if you hadn't have gone
i wouldn't have lost you another way
from wherever you are
oh oh oh
come back

and these days
they linger on
and in the night
i've been waiting for
the real possibility that i may meet you in my dreams
i go to sleep

if i don't fall apart
will my memories stay clear
so you had to go
and i had to remain here
but the strangest thing today
so far away
and yet you feel so close
and i'm not going to question any other way
it must be an open door for you
oh oh oh
to come back

and the days
they linger on
and then at night i'm waiting for
the real possibility that i may meet you
in my dream
sometimes you're there
and you're talking back to me
come the morning
i can swear that you're next to me
and it's okay
it's okay
it's okay

i'll be here
come back
come back
i'll be here
come back
come back
ohhh i'll be here
come back

ohhh ohhh ohh ohhhhh

dont really dig this song at all. and still not digging parachutes. it grew on me a little but not enough to say i like it. think i will probably eventually end up skipping over both songs when listening to the record in the future once its out.

Parachutes is at the bottom of the record for this but I love come back. It's got an elvis/50's vibe to it that might be tough to get into, but the end of the song is incredible. It reminds me of the black tag.
