Without question my favourite set of songs in this comp.
However, for certain Man of the Hour < Small Town. Small Town is just one of those songs that transcends - an example: both of my kids (6 and 3) always sing alomg with the "I just wanna say HELLO!!! bit. Every time.
Now that is a real buzz, let me tell ya.

This is my first chance to vote, so I'm gonna think out loud here. First of all...the fact that Was fell to the third round absolutely shocks me. Well, not really; even I forgot to pick it high! This will probably be how I pick teams from here on out: I'll ignore what rounds songs were picked in and just order each team. From what I see, Angus' team looks like this: GTF, Wash, MotH, Rival and All Or None.. JV'd would go: Release, Betterman, Small Town, Marker and Who You Are. As a squad of good songs, Angus' team sort of falls apart after MotH for me...I'm surprised either of those songs at the bottom actually got picked at all. The only part of rival I actually like is the line, "As we release this unspeakable tolllllllllllllllllll." All or None doesn't even usually get onto my radar screen; I can't even remember the last time I listened all the way through RA to get to it. JV's team holds up much better. The first three songs are bonified classics, Marker is a pretty good song on the new album, and WYA is a cool little diddy (I'm not as high on it as a lot of people on this board, but it was a good try for something different). My vote goes to jeremyvedder.

JV has 3 songs in my top 20, as compared to angus' 1, and betterman may even be in my top 5.
