As reported on lifewasted.net, Jay and Lindsay said this morning they'd be bringing in Ed tomorrow morning during their show.
For overseas listeners tuning in through the stream on the jjj website, this will be on between 6am-9am, Aussie Eastern Daylight Time, ie GMT +11.00. Figure it out yourself. It's basically starting tomorrow, an hour and a half before the time this post was made, and goes on for 3 hours.

Wasn't organised enough to record it this morning, but they replayed it this arvo. Only managed to get the 2nd half though I'm sure someone else would've got it.. if not I think JJJ would have it up soon enough
More of the interview to come tomorrow apparently!

Listening to it now in Perth (delayed telecast - got to love it). So far they have talked about how having a kid has changed Ed's perspective on being politically active - he used to be doing it for himself and now he's doing it for the kids. Also conversation about the elections in the US (Ed made some phone calls to encourage and organisation that calls people and reminds them to vote) and compulsory voting in Australia. Apparently Mike's theory is if the US govt introduced a system whereby you vote and then received a lotto ticket more people would be likely to vote as they'd have the chance to be rich and famous.
Robbie Buck then plays "Life Wasted"
Conversation about what are the best bands PJ have played with. Ed just likes playing live music and apparently doesn't care when or with who as long as the vibe is good but has especially enjoyed his affiliation with Pete (Townshend) and Neil (Finn). Talks about 7 Worlds Collide with Neil Finn and how that experience helped him get through some personal stuff...

heard some this morning, he said he's on a ten day fast and that they're thinking of playing every song in their catalogue over the three nights in melbourne. were going to do it in sydney but now they're not.
