Gremmie is just a fun song shouldnt be taken seriously...
Eddie dedicated Big Wave to Mark Richards at Melb2...
My daughter use to make me play gremmie over and over in the car when lost dogs came out...she loved it...as any 6yr old would.....
I always thought GTF reminded me of a wave b4 I watched Single Video Theory and heard Mike saying about the wave building and crashing....
BTW I love GTF and was stoked to hear it at the 4 shows I recently went to.

embarrassing that given to fly isn't on here. even if its not a literal surfing song, the sentiment and music convey surfing WAY better than the other two. I refuse to vote.

Gremmie Out of Control is real surf music.

I like Big Wave, but Gremmie really takes me back.

I have a question. I surf and read surf magazines and what not. But I never heard of the term "gremmie" from anywhere but this song. I know "grom" and it means like the same thing that gremmie means in the song. So i guess "gremmie" is some kinda variation or something?

I thought gremmie must be the same as grommie or grommet in American..and the grommie/grommet is an australian variation
