Honestly, out of these three choices, it's pretty silly to not go with Alive.

My votes on Corduroy, but I would have picked some more choices other than those 3

Corduroy. Its not so epic as Alive, but PJ is not being about being epic to me, and Corduroy was the 2nd song of my show and made me cry of happiness just by hearing the first notes.

Even Flow! This is the song that broke the band IMO. Alive was not largely played or known, atleast to a mainstream audience, and then a little song called Even Flow was played as an MTV buzzclip one day. Pearl Jam had arrived, ushering in the grunge era, propelled by the success of Smells Like Teen Spirit. A live-setting video featuring Eddie Vedder falling 10 feet into crowd: $4,500. Quintessential grunge moment: Priceless. Jeremy took things to new heights. To me, Even Flow defines their sound and style better than Alive, during their defining year, 1992.

I voted corduroy, maybe alive though. For a while corduroy felt like that the definitive PJ song to me but I can't think right now.

although it's not in the list, and although i already posted here, the more i'm listening to Navy Bean, the more i'm feeling like it could've been - or could be - a powerful resumé of Pearl Jam tortured roads up to now. idk, the raw presence of ed's voice and the lyrical content of the tune - pheew. new fave of mine

I changed my mind.

Even Flow is definitely it.

Thanks man, I knew this was the right answer all long.
