I was wondering the same the last couple of days if they'd get any. It's completely ridiculous that they didn't, because PJ is more than deserving, but I'm not the least bit surprised. Look at the candidates in every rock category - seems its the same fuckers every year. The academy blows.

Looking at the noms, Pearl Jam defintiely deserves to be nominated for something, but the fact of the matter is, noone in the band, and few fans of the band, actually give a shit anyways.

so the chili peppers score 6 nominations for another album that sounds exactly like the last 5?

Sigh. Looks like i'll be tuning out the grammys again.

Am I the only person who thought the racentours couldn't hold a candle to the white stripes?

I love Stadium Arcadium, very different compared to the previous albums.

Stadium Arcadium is one of the best albums ive ever heard btw, why would the acedamy nominate a band that dont give two shits about the award?

First of all, it's completely ridiculous that PJ got snubbed. Did the Academy even LISTEN to the record? Secondly, I think Stadium Arcadium is a solid album and deserves a few nods.

Who cares?

The people voted in USA Today AND Rolling Stone........

2006 was the 'Return Of Pearl Jam'.

I'll gladly take that over some academy that wouldn't recognize a classic like Corduroy back in the day........How does a song like that get snubbed in PJ's height of popularity anyway?

well they did win an award for STBC, and accepted it with grace.
