Hey guys,

The live music scene in Sydney, and im pretty sure its all around Australia is giong through a massive downturn. Pubs are closing, or either putting in Pokies, or just putting in DJ's and throwing bands out.

The Australian Pearl Jam Show (http://www.thepearljamshow.com.au) have been around for quite a few years now, and because we don't have the luxury of having the real thing play in OZ all the time, i have found these guys to be a perfect substitute. I have seen them over 110 times in the last 4 years, and everytime they perform they are sound even better! but the crowds are getting worse.

Now, all you guys on this site, and other forums are hardcore fans, and you guys would really appreciate what these guys do. They are not just your average cover band. They are a TRIBUTE band, and as the real thing do, they mix up their sets every night, and play rare material such as Baba, Footsteps, Sad, Dead Man, Dirty Frank etc.

But the one problem they are having is that the people watching them are radio or casual fans. And this leaves the boys now choice but to play the hits all the time.

The boys are based in Sydney, and were even on Triple M radio last week on the Shebang. They are highly regarded by people in the industry, but the Pearl Jam fans seem to be disappearing into thin air.

If we can fill Acer Arena 2.5 times thats nearly 50,000 people. but these guys are lucky if they can crack 50 at some of their gigs. They do it for the love of the Music...they are all hardcore fans, but are having no luck in attracting hardcores to see them, mainly coz they think the hardcores will think they are just another cover band.

I can assure you they are not.

Well, i think anyone in Australia should hit there website above and anytime you arrive in Sydney please come and see them. you wont be dissapointed.

I tell you now, i am writing this message coz of my love for Pearl Jam's music, and the fact that no one is coming to see these guys who play their hearts out every week.

I would like to see them another 110 times so keep them alive by going to see them, and throw in your requests...they pretty much know the whole catalogue.

Ok thats enough.

Please support the guys. They deserve it! go and see a band!
