I was suprised how high it was. There are some good songs on there and some absolute duds.

Wow, I'm a fan of Jack White and all.. but "Steady As She Goes" is just an absolutely horrible song...

worldwide suicide is great. its probably my 5th of 6th favorite off the record, but im not surprised its this high.

"you only live once" isnt even the best song on the strokes new record, ive seen it in like 3 or 4 different lists.

"crazy" and "steady as she goes" were pretty obvious. jack white has written at least 46 better songs than that.

I didn't like steady as she goes much. It felt too generic. Broken Boy Soldiers is much better.

2 "Steady As She Goes"
The Raconteurs
The first single from Brendan Benson and Jack White's garage-glam band was a perfect dirty sundae of fuzz-box stutter, metallic zoom and pop-chorale candy. It is also a good reason to hope the Raconteurs are no one-album project.

this is why i don't understand people that write for music magazines...what the hell does this mean and where do they come up with this bullshit?
