hail hail is about a relationship falling apart though, and trying to preserve it. It's not quite a love song in the same way these are

I never really interpreted Hail Hail about a relationship falling apart; I've always seen it as a person in a relationship that he fears is falling into a type of complacency, which doesn't necessarily mean it's ending.

Enough of a reason to play it as the first song at my wedding. Something I will never regret.

There's a light,... when my baby's in my arms...
There's a light,... when the window shades are drawn
Hesitate .. when I feel I may do harm to her...
Wash it off,... cuz this feeling we can share...

And I know she's reached my heart,... in thin air

Thin Air everytime

I love Parachutes, but Thin Air destorys all of these. Most underrated song in PJ's catalogue.

Why doesn't everybody realize that Thin Air is amazing?

the sentiment is nice because love is a nice sentiment, but the lyrics are just too trite for me, and there isn't anything that capitvates me about the music

"And i know she's reached my heart in thin air"

I don't mind Thin Air too much, but what the fuck does it mean? Like, even in it's the most literal sense? I can just about fathom a metaphorical interpretation, but the literal...i just don't get it..:-/

That was difficult. I went with Parachutes, but I almost picked Thin Air.

That Stone is great. 8)
