interesting idea, but i think you might get a lot of biased opinion. Unless someone's been to them all, they will just vote for the ones they were at.

we just gotta do it right, which is possible........ we're an intelligent bunch...
some rules like: "attendance should not be considered in your vote" and "if you haven't heard the show, you can't vote for it..."
the second rule, if abided by would at least give votes to shows which are circulated, and there's probably a correlation between circulated shows and the better shows...

someone tried to do a concert SOTM deal in live last year. I'd try that first to see how it goes.
But anyway, if you wanted to set this up we can sticky it. Do it in live though.

If it had anyhting to do with concerts it would have to be certain songs from concerts,... especially concerts most pj fans would know of and have in their collections,... ie released bootlegs & dvds

We've done songs every year for as long as I could remember so I don't think it would be a bad idea to change it up and give it a shot...just to see. Plus it would probably give people a chance to go back and listen to old boots they haven't listened to in a while.

Damn picking just 64 shows out of like 600+ is crazy hard. Why not just use the SV shows for the tourny? Those are probably the best sounding aud boots, and are widely circulated. Only thing is they don't cover anything after the 2000 tour. Correction, they cover the VFC Tour, but not the 2003 tour. Or maybe just do pre-2000 tour. I kinda like that idea.
