Bands usually break up due to personal problems that a certain band member has. I know Pearl Jam has overcome most problems that other bands dont. But if there was one member that could do it, who do u think it wud b?
Personally I think Stone. the creator and the ruiner. just have a feeling that it wud be him.

At this point, I really think they're beyond all that. Dave A. though, which is at least partly why they fired him. The band, especially Eddie wanted to start toning it down and going in a different direction, and Dave A. most likely didn't want that. So in the history of the band, Dave A. Now, no one guy is going to end the band, since all five guys have sort of 'become one band.'

hahahahaha Boom and Yoko...
Id say they are at a point now, where if they split, it will be a mutual Sleater-Kinney esque "indefinete Hiatus"
And I really dont see any member being replaced either.
Not even Matt now, I think hes pretty much set as the drummer.
Even If soundgarden were to get back together... Hed probably just do BOTH
(Chris should really just joing PJ well were at it, and have it become Temple of the Pearl Garden... hahaha that really sounds like it should be a kunfu movie though)

I'm surprised nobody said Mike. With his illness and foundation....well you never know. However, if Mike said it was time, it would be the only right way to end it.

His illness would be under control, I think if anyone wanted to quit it would be over, even Matt, how to predict that is impossible.
