Stip has a hard time caring about Ole.Stip really really likes the outro and it's catchy, but in a kind of annoying way.
It's mostly Eddie that does that one in for Stip. Stip don't like that 'supersonic' style of eddie vocal. Fixer is also bright and glossy, but it left all the sandpaper edges intact.

i don't think any of them are concept albums. I think they all have a general theme that they're exploring that reflects the headspace they (or at least Eddie) was in at the writing. Backspacer isn't any different.

i remember someone saying vitalogy was supposed to be a concept album, but the idea got scrapped when kurt cobain killed himself.
