I was just watching "Talk Sex with Sue Johannson" and the sex quiz of the week was this:

Which rock band has a dildo named after it?

a. TLC
b. Pearl Jam
c. Finger Eleven
d. Steely Dan

The answer was D. Steely Dan

I busted a gut laughing about the possibility of having a dildo named after my favorite band ever. Another reason to love PJ!

It's the other way around, actually. Steely Dan got their name from the name of a dildo, which was in William burroughs book.

Edit: Although I suppose it is possible that a dildo has since been named the Steely Dan as a result of the band.

actually your right. I misquoted the question. It should have said, " what rock band took it's name from a dildo?"
