... would you be dissapointed to hear such news?
AND/OR, perhaps an even better question (I don't know, who's to say) -- Even if you did NOT regard a thing like playing the SB halftime show as a degree of "selling out", would you STILL prefer not to see guys like PJ appearing in such a forum?

What's the Super Bowl?
It's an event in America where they get the best football (not soccer you European scum) players in the league all together in one stadium and smoke marijuana together

well let's take it a step further, if they did play the halftime show what songs do you think they should play?
I think WWS, Alive, and Immortality would be quite fitting

I'm torn. I'd love to see them do a venue like that but ONLY if they didn't have a whole fancy stage show with it. Just the music
Also, the sound usually sucks, so they'd need to be careful
Betterman would be ironic at the superbowl
If they had 3 songs
Betterman or Last Kiss
Alive
Do The Evolution or Jeremy or Even Flow or Given To Fly

Well c'mon, how badass would Masters Of War be?? (I was still impressed they got to do it on Letterman that one time)
Nah here's the thing, I'm honestly not even sure myself if I'd consider the actual idea of playing the Super Bowl halftime selling out, I'm really not, but at the same time.... I just can't get it out of my head of the atrocity of a concept that was Aerosmith sharing a bill with... NSynch And, obviously it just so happens that was the SB. I mean that was just... ugh. I forget right now if they're already in the R&R Hall of Fame, but between that move and a few others, they should be evicted from their display case in there. I mean truth is I viewed Aerosmith as sellouts even before they decided to duet with those 5 young ladies (I wanna vomit every time I see that fucking digital camera ad with Steven Tyler).

You heard it here first: Pearl Jam and U2 play the 2008 Super Bowl in AZ. Pearl Jam opens with Life Wasted, U2 follow with One, and then they combine on RITFW
