I wonder if this means that Nick can update his comp?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. If these shows will no longer be commercially available I guess we can start to trade them come March 9.

The next step is no downloads. Just streaming real audio, $14.99 per listen.

Wow, shit - didn't see this one coming, just got the email.

What does it all mean?...I kinda assumed that they wouldn't stop selling any of the online stuff. Kinda glad in a way I guess, there's a few 2006 shows I don't have that I can now perhaps trade for in a more open fashion...

If they move towards having them only via iTunes or something, I'll break something and send it in the post to Ten Club though.

However, if this means a move back towards physical CD's, then fuckin' AT LAST.

What about the Vault? Did they give up on that?

so wait...does this mean you can't purchase any more concerts from any time from '06 all the way back to the early 90s?

Will they start it up again? If not, how would you get recordings of concerts for the upcoming years?

Thanks! :)

I just noticed that the news blurb on the pearljam.com main page also says: "Stay tuned for the next chapter in Pearl Jam live recordings."

Maybe DVD boots are in the pipeline?...

Either way, I'm interested to see where this is all going.
