Enjoy what? If this is what I think it is, the "promo" is nothing more than a cd with a single track which contains the widely available studio cut of State of Love and Trust.
I wouldn't pay $5 for it. Its a radio promo disc and it doesn't even have cool artwork.

Do you know how much original vinyls of Nirvana's Love Buzz go for on ebay? 2 tracks: Love Buzz and Big Cheese.
Anywhere between $600-$1100.
For some people, it's the "collectors value" that puts the heavy price on it.
Another example is bootleg cds. Even when cdrs became available, people still wanted to pay $25 for a bootleg cd just because of the rare collectors value, as well asthe fact that it's the original and not a copy. I used to buy into that stuff myself.

Dude, there is a huge difference between the very first ever Nirvanna release (on 7 inch vynil) and this cheap radio promo CD. Love Buzz contains original cover art and they are hand numbered. Plus it has historic value. I agree that Love Buzz is a gem.
This SOLAT promo is junk. Well, not junk really. I agree it has value. But if I remember correctly, the cd is packaged in a slim case with nothing more than an sticker on the front. There may be some obsessive completists who would pay some money for it but I would love to see any evidence that it has a resale value approaching anything close to $250.
You know what, I think I overspoke a little. It IS rare in the since that there are not a lot of them floating around. It may be in the same realm as the Black promo, which I know can sell for as much as $150.
Still, I just think there are very people who would pay significant amounts of money for these types of items. I think you shoudl save your money unless you have strong personal reasons for wanting it. As an "investment" I still feel it is a waste. If you want to "invest" in PJ memorabalia then buy posters.
