So, the first Pearl Jam concert in Europe seems to surface after almost 5 years.
See what was sent to me in a recent Rock-Am-Ring newsletter. I remember that back in 2000, the first concert date was for this same festival and later the whole concert schedule was made official.
I don't know German, but I understand that all these bands are going to be in the next festival (the 20th anniversary of it).

THIS IS NOT THE CORRECT TRANSLATION!!!!
It says...
What have U2, Pearl Jam, Bon Jovi .... in common? The superstars of rock have alll been playing the most popular german festival in the last 2 decades!!!!
They are referring to former shows! Confirmed for this years Rock am Ring are:
R.E.M.

Green Day
Incubus
HIM
The Prodigy
The Chemical Brothers

The Hives

From the pit if you haven't already read it
Next year is going to be a wonderful year jam packed with Pearl Jam goodies to fill everyone's wishlist. Pearl Jam have been busy working on their next studio album to be released on the BMG label, and tour plans are in the works. Although it's still too early to give specifics, European fans can do some early rejoicing.

"Issue #51 - June 28, 2002
The next tour will begin some time next year; Australia and New Zealand are still on the schedule and Belgian fans can look forward to the possibility of a Pearl Jam visit in the Spring. "
"Issue #52 - September 15, 2002
Plans are still being made for next year's tour but no dates are available because it's still being worked out. Possibilities so far include Australia, New Zealand, Europe and maybe Japan."
so they are bound to tour europe... some year or another...
