Well, I'm not sure if the contest is only for Polish bands or for everyone (it's not specified yet) but I thought I should let you know anyway.
The promoter started a contest for a newcoming bands. The prize is a role of a support band on a Pearl Jam gig in Poland. That means the first support band (before Coma and Linkin Park). To take a part in this you have to: record a demo (one song), write a bio, take a photo of your band. Then send it all there: Live Nation, ul. Wołodyjowskiego 59, 02-724 Warszawa (add a note "DEMO" on the envelope) or wait for the special website where you will be able to send mp3s.
The submissions will be judged by a jury. The representants of the promoter and media patrons will be the judges. They will choose ten songs - the winner will be chosen in the internet poll.
