Why not get a thread started for each song? Curious to get people's thoughts on this one...
I think it's one of those rare songs where the groove of the verses is awesome, but it just seems to fall flat on the chorus. I've only listened a few times, so maybe it will grow.

Musically I like the groove, but this could be right at home on Riot Act. What sets it apart from most of the songs on Riot Act is the meanigful lyrics and passionate delivery by Mr. Vedder. This one is growing on me quickly.

It's got a slight U2 feel, but being a Neil Finn ( split enz, crowded house ) fan, I hear his guitar work in there. There's a specific song from Neil that starts out very much the same.....it'll come to me.

I think the beginning strongly resembles the intro of "Last Goodbye" by Jeff Buckley. Maybe that's what you're thinking of.
It's last goodbye--do you know that song Dkfan9? The chorus goes
Kiss me, please kiss me
Kiss me out of my mind (I think--I'm not positive about the last line)
you'd recognize it if you heard it

Once I really know the lyrics I think this one will be even better. it's telling a really poigniant story

It wasn't either of the Crowded House songs that I was thinking of, although they're both really good(and songs I haven't heard in a long time), and I hear the resemblance between Weather with You and AR.
