I'm visiting seattle and wondering what PJ or Nirvana sites there are. I'm thinking like the Off-Ramp and things like that. Didn't there used to be a guide somewhere or a map with key spots on it? Does anyone have that link? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Steve

Angi.

Then I'd get back on the plane and go home, feeling fulfilled.

Awww. That's lovely. You both would be welcomed anytime.

Fivehorizons has a guide to Seattle:

I don't know if all the info is still accurate but I guess most sights are still there to see.

No doubt, Angi is the best!....And this "index" of music related places to see in Seattle is incredible- I had never seen this before, thanks.

The Off Ramp is now known as El Corazon.

RCKCNDY is now a parking lot.

All of the other venues are still in use. (Moore, Paramount, Key, Croc, etc)

Please tell me you are not travelling to Seattle for the purpose of seeing "historical" pearl jam sites. It is such a cool city and that is really kinda lame. Check out EMP though. Lots of cool artifacts there that were donated by the Seattle bands.

This reminds me of the many times I would be in Charlottesville visiting friends and laughing at the DMB nerds who had driven to town just to see the pink warehouse, Miller's and Trax (which is no longer there).

I am a volunteer at EMP, it's really fantastic, you should go for sure, and take your time going through.

If you're in town this Thursday, it's free to get in (instead of the $15 entrance fee) from 5-8PM or something like that. If you want to check it out go to http://www.emplive.org . And I'll be there, so you could say hi AND see the sights, all at the same time.

Thanks everybody. No, not going to see historical PJ and won't be doing any stalking. Just a place I've never been. If I walk by something PJ I'd like to know it's there, though. We won't be able to make the EMP Thursday. I think we will pay and go earlier in the week. Thanks again to everyone.

Steve
