if that interview was from a member of the fanclub I bet it would look very different

still that's got to be an utterly thankless job and for the most part the 10club has been very good to me

I've heard some really bad stories about that guy though, probably shouldnt have a thread discussing it but.... VH! storytellers is probably the worst.

but, yes, 10c has been very good in my eyes.

I may have dreamt this...but I recall a thread where someone met him at one of the shows in the US last year (my brain says Camden or Boston) and he came off as a jerk there too.

Apparently he was ranting about how the band think all the fans are ungrateful shitheads because they only get excited about rarities and b-sides and nobody gives a shit about the new songs. There's probably some truth to that statement* (for some fans, anyway) but still, it's a gross generalisation and not true of many people who want to come and hear whatever the hell the band feel like playing.

* Just to rant myself a little bit, I think it IS a geniune disappointment that some fans go to tons of shows and it's almost if they're only there to mark unheard songs off of their imaginary list. I think when you make comments such as "I wish they'd give Even Flow a rest", it's time to take a break from Pearl Jam.
