The project is Dead Man Walking II. Penn reprises his role as the murderer, but in the sequel he is a zombie who terrorizes Sally Field (Susan Sarandon declined to reprise her original role). Ed contributes the movie's theme song, which he penned: "Bloodline."

edit...which everyone says is great but doesn't actually make it into the movie again, causing Ed to return to his 92 angst during concerts.

For anyone who is interested, Eddie is writing songs for "Into the Wild."

It looks like a very interesting collaboration.

I would recommend this book to anyone who hasn't read it. I couldn't put it down. Almost everyone I know has fantasized about doing just what this guy did. We just don't expect that it will kill us.

“The people of the Czech Republic don’t have to choose between being a friend of the United States or a friend with Russia,” Bush said in his stop at this former Soviet satellite. “You can be both. We don’t believe in a zero-sum world.”
