hated it forever. i've come to appreciate it in the last few years. i wish more of the last minute of new pearl jam songs sound like the last minute of this one.

I have never really been a massive fan of this song, but hearing it live was definitely unexpected and quite enjoyable (perhaps because of the surprise value?). To me this song is similar to Habit in that some sections of the song turn me off. I don't like the chorus, I think that's the main reason this one hasn't been in my regular rotation, but the verses, the 'alway keep it loaded' bridge and the subsequent outro I really get into.
Probably 2-3 stars but coz I'm in a generous mood I'll go three.

the quickest way i can think of (not technically advanced) is to change /phpBB2/ to /website/phpBB3/ and you'll be done. But that's gonna be lot's of work. I was thinking it wouldn't be too bad, but then i remembered that you'd also have to change it in all of the old topics... don't see it happening.

I think a lot of people are taking the song too literally. If you think of it as I do, a sarcastic ode to the abuse of power, then it might change perspectives of the song. I love it.
