Eddie's in this new Michael Moore film also. I have not seen any posts on this. This is the first I've heard about it.
Not sure if this is news but...
The documentary follows Moore going from stadium to stadium, filled with adoring fans, in 62 cities in the dying days the 2004 presidential campaign, bashing US President George W. Bush -- who would go on to win the contest -- and his "lies" to justify an "unjust war" in Iraq.

Moore offers a rousing defense of press freedoms, while thrashing US media for not asking "the tough questions" going into the Iraq war.

Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder, Steve Earl, Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello and Joan Baez break up the film with musical interludes.

at the time of Roger and Me, or even Bowling for Columbine, yes I could..not these days when Moore is more interested in self-publicity than anything else :shake:

by the sound of this article, it could just be footage from the VFC tour... admittedly, Ed would have had to agree to it being used.. I'd rather he didn't for the above mentioned reason..
and frankly that film seems pretty pointless as only people who are guaranteed to not vote Republican would see it..talk about preaching to the converted

I appreciate the movies he's made so far. He addresses issues that most people probably know to be true but they rather wouldn't hear. As a non-American it's nice to see something different coming out of the U.S. other than sitcoms that aren't funny or Hollywood movies that are remakes of remakes.

He's made some really great documentaries though.

Sure, he's talented, but that doesn't forgive him for being a self-aggrandizing, attention-seeking exploiter. I agree with a lot of his causes but can't stand him as a person.

I say way to go mr Vedder.
You cant have enough anti war involvement - the US is still over there.
Shut Michael Moore up when the US is no longer in Iraq.

Yeah his movies are really well done but a lot of people have claimed that his editing is a little suspect and he takes what you say and shows it out of context, matt stone i believe is one of these whose complained, hence moore's bashing in Team America ...

hes really self righteous and i mean people shouldnt take too much stock in what he says, he IS A FILMMAKER essentially a story teller ... story tellers are essentially good liars.. etc etc and they show you what they want you to see..
heh yeah i havent heard of this film anywyas ...

Isn't that everyone in politics? That kind of describes Nader too, who is out there hocking a new book. His documentaries aren't always balanced, but he's entertaining and is willing to put a spotlight on a lot of stuff in our country that needs to be kept in the public consciousness. That can only be a good thing.

That's what I'm saying. People don't wanna hear that 'shit'. They want Ed to sing and shut up and they want Moore to leave the trash under the rug.

Not everybody is disturbed with musicians such as Vedder talking politics and other issues, you know, and is been like that forever.
