Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder has reportedly been eating $10 eggs for breakfast since wife Jill found out she was pregnant with Vedder's first daughter.

"I used to eat $3 eggs, but with a daughter, I need to be sober as much as possible. And after a night of playing and wine-drinking, I need something to suck up all that wine. And I've found that paying $3 just doesn't provide enough nourishment for a father. So now I'm eating eggs that cost more than most breakfasts as a whole, because that's what my daughter would want."

Vedder also said there are some tentative plans on touring the western side of the country in support of his new solo album/ soundtrack to the Sean Penn film "Into the Wild."

lol. This is where spin-off threads belong. They're just too predictable in GD.

For the record, the eggs benedict and a coffee at my local cafe here in Austraya costs 14 bucks Aussie, which is like 12.50 American. Throw in your American tipping habits, and we're about even.
