According to Mike McCready, Eddie will be doing some solo shows in addition to Bridge School. Also, Mike is working on the soundtrack to a new documentary, so there will probably be new music from Mike.
In recent interviews, Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder has hinted that he might tour in support of his solo soundtrack for Sean Penn's critically acclaimed new film "Into the Wild." And Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready confirmed those plans this morning during an interview that mostly focused on Pearl Jam's new DVD, "Immagine in Cornice," which was released Tuesday. When asked what everyone would be doing before Pearl Jam reconvenes next spring to work on a new album, McCready mentioned Vedder’s plans to play Neil Young’s Bridge School Benefit concert and “some West Coast dates.”
However, he declined to fill in further details before the official announcement, which he said was coming soon.
McCready called from Los Angeles where he has been working on demos for a documentary project. He said that recording background songs for the new "Immagine" DVD inspired him to pursue that sort of soundtrack and scoring work.

I'm looking forward to this. He's a much better songwriter than he was when he worked on Almost Famous. How much of that did he write anyway? I know he played....

If I recall correctly, Peter Frampton had a hand in writing some of the songs. Not sure which ones, though. I'm sure you can find out about the original music on imdb.

He played the solos. He didn't write the songs.
Thanks, SLH. I knew he had a hand in something.
