Ok, so I went to the Louisville screening at this place called the Monkey Wrench. My sis and I go there around 7 to make sure we had a spot. Well, we really didn't need to get there early since oh around 20 PJ fans showed up, but then again who would have fuckin' known about it unless they went to the synergy board  So, Patrick shows up about 7:30 and looked a bit dazed and confused  He spots my sister and I, says hello and gives my sis a high five. There's still hardly one there, so I'm hoping that at 8 or so it will be packed.......haha nope!

Finally, my friend Susan and her husband show up from Lexington and she was like what's going on. I go find Patrick and ask him if J. James is coming and he says no, because a good friend from Nashville (who he didn't reveil the name) was in town so J.James is hanging out with him and was not coming at all. :? That was a tad disappointing, but oh well. So, the dvd finally starts and you can barely hear it and I had to go and ask the manager to turn it up. Why those chose this place to have it is totally beyond me. THere were old people coming in to have dinner there! THe manager apologized and turned it up and told us to go sit in the "bar" area if we wanted to hear it louder.

Then I see my friend Susan has cornered Patrick and I'm like OH SHIT! Poor Patrick and my sister is like oh no! My friend Susan is the kind of person that will tell you her life story and you can't find a moment to stop the conversation to get away, she's sweet but she talks alot.

So finally, Patrick gets away from her and then starts taking pictures. He said the 10c ask to take pics, so I had him take one of my sis and I, haha we might end up somewhere on there.

I did get a chance to talk to him about MMJ and he said they are headed to the studio in Nov and to expect their new album to come out sometime in April, with a tour following shortly after. Hehe, and I asked also about Run Thru on ISM and how to me it sounded like Porch from mtv unplugged. He said it was totally a coincident that it sounded similar and they were not trying to sound like it at all.

So, as the night was ending we went to say goodbye to Patrick and my friend Susan starts going off about the PJ Cincy show with Robert Pollard opening and being so drunk he couldn't remember the words to any songs and how ed how to come out to help him sing Baba. Patrick was like, I'm a huge fan and that sucks that he was wasted. I was getting a little embarassed that she kept going on and on about, but she finally left. Patrick gave me a big hug and hugged and a gave my sis a peck on the check.

It was a fun night, but I wish they had selected another place to host it and gotten the word out a bit sooner so more people could have showed up. I had my camera, but didn't take any pics :| Then again, I might end up somewhere on the 10c site :bammer:
