i'm not entering because i have to work or lose my job. no question about it. i'd have to be admitted to a hospital to not show up on monday. and after working by that point, 8 straight days, i wouldn't be shit for leaving monday night, to say nothing of being human on tuesday.
my daughter wants to kill me for not entering. really wants to strangle me. i said, you have gowns (of course she does! she's fucking beautiful, where do i spend my money?), i don't have gowns and i'm about a month away from fitting into a size 4.

ok, i don't know a lot about this soundtrack. so eddie wrote every song on this? this is basically a solo album or what? i'm confused
I imagine 40 pages is a bit of a chore to wade through. Ed's releasing a collection of songs he wrote for the movie, Into The Wild. He wrote all except 2 songs. Those songs are Society and Hard Sun. He covers these. In the case of Society, the song writer (Hannan) sings too. On Hard Sun it's Corin Tucker who sings with him. All instruments appear to be played by Vedder.
The movie itself has other music and other instrumentalists, but Vedder's music is heavily featured and appears to be the main musical mechanism used to dramatically propel the film. According to Sean Penn who directed, he filmed the movie with music in mind for dramatic moments and Ed came to mind as the voice and songwriter. He approached Ed, Ed agreed after reading the book and month later the songs started flowing. Sean seems pretty high on the music.
Those of us who've heard parts, seem pretty high too.
