Hi folks,
I signed up for the 10C back in February of this year and have not seen a single thing to date from them, except a little pamphlet telling me what I should expect... Have any of the Deep magazines been sent out so far? Has anything else been sent out?
I pre-ordered the Immagine in Cornice DVD back in August and that still isn't here, however that is probably unrelated.
Anyway, just wondering if there are any other Canadian members out there who have/haven't received their swag that way I know if I should give 10C a call to find out if there's a problem.

one thing i've learned is that its really not worth buying much from them (like the DVD's or CD's) unless its something exclusive... i knew if i ordered the DVD from them that I wouldn't get it until weeks (if not months) after it was released in stores... so i just bought it for $15 at HMV the day it was released... a much better alternative...
as for newsletters... its been too long, i cant remember, but i believe the last one we got was with the christmas single right around february... but you wouldnt have got that one if you signed up in february

I don't think so either
I tend to buy stuff like DVD's from them because I figured the band gets more money that way. Is that true?

I would too if they didn't take months to arrive to anywhere outside the US. I wish they'd change that. If Amazon can ship something to me in under two weeks, why does it take 10C more than two months?

It took quite the while for the ST album to show up last year, and the gorge boxset this year. Cornice didn't have anything you could get in the store so I bought it here. I've never been sure why the 10c's shipping methods to Canada are slow. You can pretty much order from any company south of the border and its here within 2 weeks.
If somethings exclusive I don't mind waiting, but if its the same thing in the store, I'll buy i in the store. I didn't know we were going to get a gorge release until after it came out (most of the 03 boots didn't get domestic releases here, so they were on shelves as uber expensive imports).
Ahh well.. and as for deep magazine... I think the last one came around the xmas single last year? so you probably missed out.. I think very seldomly do they actually come out 6 months apart).

Yeah it takes forever to get anything from the 10C up here. The Gorge took forever, as did my Benaroya Hall boxset when I ordered that years back...even that was fucking dented.
I've gotta agree with everyone. As a Canadian it's only really worth ordering through 10C if it's something you can't get elsewhere. Too bad they can't get their act together, because i would prefer more money going into the band's pocket.

I'm still shocked I received the polo shirt in 3 weeks of the order. While everything else would take more then a month or 2 to get here. If only they put that blue airmail sticker on their packages .. and ship the items as small packet .. we would have thy cds/dvds/books etc.. in less then 2 weeks received up here. Just like how i've been doing b+p's & trades the past few year's. I think it depends on the items .. and the guy who takes the items to the post office. Cause it's been a heart pounding ride with 10club the past few years.
The biggest thing that is bugging us all is the shipping prices. I'm sorry but at those rate, they should overnight the items up here. They shouldn't be using regular mail to ship those items. Please 10club. Change your postal service client. They are so ripping you off. Try another orgainzation. Something. Everybody is sad & hurt with those prices .. on the shipping. Please check into the shipping cost. Please. I just quit my job yesterday. They treated me like crap the past few weeks so I left. Been working there for almost 2 years. Now i'm ISO something that will thrill me. If you need somebody to help you guy's out on shipping/delievery service .. i'm more then willing to get a job with you guy's.
