I didn't want to delete the poll in the into the wild thread but I'm curious about this, now that we've had the record for a few months
When the record first came out it was hard sun, but right now it is EASILY No Ceiling, which I probably listen to 4-5 times a day
Far Behind may be second right now, but still a distant second to No Ceiling

"Society" based on Ed's chilling delivery alone. "Hard Sun" a close second, and maybe "No Ceiling" if it were a minute longer.
"Setting Forth" kinda scared me when I first heard it. I thought "man, his voice is shot". Then I got the image of him using his voice in a Tom Waits kinda way sometime in the future.

"guys, it's sad that my favorite song on this is a cover "
that doesn't bother me. Have you heard the original? Eddie's interpretation is faithful to the original but the original really isn't a very good song. And the lyrics to the song are average at best. Eddie made it much richer, much fuller, and did wonderful things with his voice on this one--one of his best performancse in years (there are a few really good ones on into the wild--this, society, no ceiling). Hard Sun is great soley becuase of what Eddie added to the song, not becuase of the basic structure that was there

i really like all of the songs on this album with Far Behind, well far behind the rest, but mainly for the vocal performance which i don't really care for on this one. i could vote now but my fav changes every time i listen to it again. i'm pretty sure that's a compliment to Ed.
