Sometimes I think of Matt as just their most recent drummer, not really part of the band, but y'know ... he's been in the band for longer than all the other drummers combined. I oughta cut him some slack.

Even more strange to think about is that he's been in the band for more than 50% of their career. 13 years now.....

I think that speaks to the writing of the whole band over that period.

Or maybe you were just in that particular cultural sweetspot when your favourite PJ records came out.
