I just randomly found out that the b-side for Not for you -single is a song called Out of my mind. Have to say I was amazed, I just found out there's a Pearl Jam song I have never heard..! I don't think I have seen any setlists with the song on them either.
So I'm curious about this, is it any good? Worth to track down? 8)

Also there are some other songs I have never heard, can you comment about them:

Last soldier (where is this song anyway??)

Olympic platinum (these two are fan club singles?)
Angel

Damn there was also another song in my head but I can't remember it, anyway it's nice to know that theres more stuff to hear..

Out of my mind was played twice so its actually more than an improv, moreso a lose song of sorts...

Also, "open road" is fucking fantastic and i want a studio version of that.

04/06/94 - Civic Center: Springfield, MA [120m]
attendance: 6,800
support act: Mudhoney
set: Rearviewmirror, Whipping, Go, Animal, Dissident, Even Flow, Glorified G, Daughter/(Hate the Police)/(WMA)/(Androgynous Mind), Why Go, Deep, Rats, Last Exit, State of Love and Trust, Black, Alive, Porch/(Hey Hey, My My)
enc 1: Not for You, Blood, Yellow Ledbetter, Once, Out of My Mind, improv/cover?, My Generation, Elderly Woman, Rockin' in the Free World
enc 2: Spin the Black Circle
notes: Another happy, upbeat show with PJ clearly enjoying themselves. The 'Hate the Police' tag is a song by The Dicks that Mudhoney covers frequently. Again, the "Ed-die" chants prompt, "That's my name ... don't fuckin' wear it out." Stone yells a "happy birthday" to Brett. Excellent version of 'Porch.' Taking requests, PJ elects to play 'Yellow Ledbetter' after 'Blood.'

Open road: its a bluesy smoker....so cool...haunting....definitely NOT an improv...
smokin the television
to get on it already
this bus is makin way too many stops
i can't get a-movin'
where's my destination?
i take a deep swallow in my frustration
i'm takin all i got
it fits in this little bag
all my life i had empty pockets
all my life i saw evil eyes in old dark sockets
i cut em off, i cut em off...
i said i don't need them to make life work
i cut em off, i cut em off...
i'll never think twice
into them i never ever talk...
so here i go
i'm finally on my way
once i said goodbye
that was my last wave, whoa
here i am on the...
on the open road
i've never felt better
then when i am alone

[edit] Discography
[edit] Trivia & Notes
There is some confusion about whether this song is an Improv or on actual song. In the Pearl Jam Rumor Pit #25 the question is being raised if it is a cover or a Pearl Jam song. The answer being that it is a Pearl Jam song has many fans to believe that it is an actual song rather than an improv.

Out of my mind is a fun improv--hardly mind blowing, but enjoyable for what it is.

Last Solider is gorgeous, as is angel. Both are highly reccomended

Olympic Platnium is vaguely funny once every couple of years, and then forgettable

at least I appreciated your input, since I haven't heard of a couple of these songs before, it's rather nice to have more than one or two opinions of them...

Open Road was played in Phoenix in '95 and it does not sound like an improv.
