Dear 10c member-
Happy New Year!
We're all really excited about 2008 and we really hope you are, too. While it's still too early to make any big announcements, we want to let you all know that the band is looking forward to a busy year ...
In the meantime, we wanted to let you know about a special opportunity to purchase a VERY limited edition of Eddie Vedder's "Into the Wild" on vinyl. The vinyl pre-sale starts January 14th at 10am Pacific only at http://www.tenclub.net.com, and the limited stock is available only while supplies last. Visit http://www.tenclub.net/news to read more about it!
Remember, you can also check out Eddie's video of "Guaranteed" from "Into the Wild" at http://www.vh1.com.
Cheers, Ten Club Staff.
A busy year ??? We'll see...
EDIT: changed title (was: Greetings from 10C) EDIT: some rumours added, so let's discuss these rumours here

"busy year" = touring and studio. touring will be summer US/Canada, include Fenway, and possibly Wrigley. No more than 15 dates, probably closer to 10, to break the rust off. Studio- possibly some before the shows, but most likely after, next official release b/t August-Dec 2009.
PS MMJ has a new album coming out in Spring, so I wouldn't be surprised if they mate again somewhere on the road...
Angus, when you become a father, I'm curious if you're going to look forward to having to leave a beautiful and captivating 3 or 4 year old little girl and her gorgeous hot model mother to go play a bunch of primarily really old songs that aren't representative of who you are OR where you are in life for nostalgic reasons for a bunch of screaming, under-sexed and over-zealous male boys. Call me crazy, but I'd opt to pass the time with my lady and child, even if it meant I couldn't purchase my $12 eggs.
PS Didn't Europe get to see PJ two summers in a row???

two years in a row was to Angus' negativity, not a general justification for why we should have them; quite frankly, if they wanted to never tour the US again, though I'd be sad, it's there business. not mine. and yes, at this point, i believe it only to be business.

Yeah, but early december 2004 till end of august 2006 is an awful lot of early rejoicing. I'm not a fan of these empty lines as "it promised to be a busy year". Not at all.

Call me crazy, but I'd opt to pass the time with my lady and child, even if it meant I couldn't purchase my $12 eggs.
What if the band, in a gesture of world peace and sacrifice decided to utterly stop playing concerts, so they would minimize their consumption of the environment, as well as curb a large population's consumption of the environment. I hope that happens before they return to Europe. Suck it Angus!!
