As a PJ fan, I always thought this would be a neat idea. I know Movin' Out isn't so much a musical but interpretive dance set to Billy Joel songs, but I think Mama Mia is an actual story based around Abba songs.
If you were to write a musical using PJ songs, what direction would you go? What setlist? storyline? I'm guessing the Mammasan story would be easiest, but are there others? political perhaps.

I think S/T or Vitalogy have the most interseting narrative, and it wouldn't be too hard to pull in other songs to flesh them out

I have considered this, I think it would be a semi unrelated story, perhaps political in nature just using Pearl Jam songs. The only thing i'd impose would be using the songs in chronological order...

I don't necessarily disagree, I just think that certian albums are more conducive to this than others.

Top 3 "Worst Threads Ever" in PJ Chat. Rack it
(seriously now, it's a struggle to find a continuous narrative in authors works over the course of 10, 15, 20 years, and even 2, 4, 6 years, much less, 2, 4, or 5+ publications.)
sadly, i know of RMers who'll leap at this idea and probably write an opus.
