The first time I bought Nebraska, the CD inside was Darkness on the Edge of Town. It was new, too...I didn't have Darkness yet, so I listened all the way through going "this doesn't seem so low-fi and demo-like..."

The same thing happened to me.
I had my CDs stolen a few years ago. Through my insurance I just got a huge box of CDs from the music store of everything that I said was in my collection. (Try replacing 72 Official Boots from 2000!). Anyways, the version of Yield I was given didn't have a booklet. I just figured that I was given CDs from the returns bin or something, but maybe it was an issue with some printing runs of Yield.

All-in-all, what does it matter? CDs are dead.
If it's digital, I already have the files. If it's to collect, I've got the vinyl.

The 3rd or 4th Yield copy I bought about a year ago did contain the entire booklet.

By the way, I had a solution for this problem but never followed through....
My local library loans out CDs and they have a pretty good Pearl Jam collection. The last time I was there I looked at the Yield CD and noticed that all the booklet stuff is there. If one were so inclined, it would be pretty easy to just take it out of the library and return it without the booklet. Not that I'd EVER do anything like that!

how cool was the "find the Yield symbol" game?... err... was it cool?
Anyways, at the time I enjoyed it.

Yes,i bought the album recently and it was with the booklet. The bad thing about this albums is that in southamerica are coming out without the especial atwork. The new no codes, yields and the rest, just come out with normal cd boxes and the typical artwork. That is very bad.A great part of Vitalogy is the atwork.
