The idea its to made a second Ten album with more or less the same structure with another versions of the album with the outtakes of that years. For me Ten was the best album and much of the best songs came from that years. I made it this way:

01- Intro/Once ---------------------01- Intro/State of Love & Trust (same begging with riff of guitar mixed with the intro)
02- Even Flow ----------------------02- Brother
03- Alive ----------------------------03- Breath
04- Why Go -------------------------04- Dirty Frank
05- Black ----------------------------05- Footsteps
06- Jeremy --------------------------06- Alone
07- Oceans --------------------------07- Wash
08- Porch ----------------------------08- Just a Girl
09- Garden --------------------------09- Let me Sleep
10- Deep -----------------------------10- Goat
11- Release/Master Slave----------11- Yellow Ledbetter/Master Slave

goat is stretching it a bit but that actually does match up pretty well

One Ten is already enough to take, let alone 2.

Yes, but I think Hold On, Hard To Imagine and Angel are VS outtakes...

So which album could be better the original TEN or the TEN II?

Truthfully I would take Ten II in a heartbeat. I'd miss Release, but that's about it.

maybe switch wash and let me sleep, as both oceans and let me sleep are tranquil songs.

Go for it. Goat is epic. You'd be a fool not to

How could you not start the album with Wash. It's a perfect opening song. Wash, into SOLAT then into Breath. An amazing first 3 track set up.

Didn't Hold On turn out to be a ten recording and it was just a misprint in the Lost Dogs booklet?

I had the same idea this past weekend when I was driving around with the new Lost Dogs leaks playing in my car. I love the part of that disc from Hold On > Alone > Just a Girl > Brother. Those are some of my favorite Ten-era tracks. But yeah... who could forget Wash, SOLAT and Breath??

I think I'm going to burn that CD for myself. (Goat will be the secret hidden track!)

ps. When you talk about these tracks, you come to realize that the band was very prolific during the Ten-era. We're talking about 24+ tracks. What other album comes close to having that many album/b-side/outtakes??

The only difference is that we have heard an awful lot of songs recorded during the Ten era because they recorded and released almost everything. That doesn't mean they didn't write a lot of songs for other albums.
