You'll notice that there are some snippets of guitar on the 'drum and vocals' track. I don't know why that is. Maybe a mistake by the game programmers.
Anyway I thought this was pretty cool. You can hear things a lot clearer when they are separated like this. I'm pretty sure you can hear Ed say 'God bless you' at some stage. As well as some other stuff I can't decipher.

Thanks very much for posting that. I can't imagine how one would go about extracting audio like that from a video game, but its really weird to hear it all chopped up like that. With the drums and vocals, you could almost rewrite the song with different riffs. Very cool.

What did you do this with? I just fucked around with Garageband for 15 minutes for mine.
Did you seperate the vocals from the drums?
No. Just adjusted to the speed of the track so that the beat matched the other drums I put in as best as possible. I used Adobe Audition, it took about an hour. It came out suprisingly well apart from maybe the first chorus is a little off-beat.
I've wanted to do stuff like this for a while. There's a few Led Zep songs that would sound good faster with a different beat. And someone also said I should do Losing My Religion, which is an idea. I don't even particularly like Trance or whatever you'd call it. But this was my first attempt at any. It helps having the vocals on a different track to the guitars alot though. Other songs would be harder.
