1. When did Ed "officially" change the bridge from "EveryTHING has changed..." (like the album) to "Everything HAS changed..." (point of emphasis in capitals)? It had to be at some point in '98? Or when was the last studio-esque version? I've heard some '98 versions where he's doing it the album way, but struggling, but I thought I've heard some later '98 shows where he does it the way he does it now.
2. Which do you like better? Count me in the camp that likes the studio way better, along with SOLAT from '98 and before.

i don't know about the change in emphasis and when it originated, however, i think a larger alteration is singing the third line as "i don't want to take what you CAN'T give" instead of "i don't want to take what you CAN give" b/c i think it changes the tone of the very next line and song overall.

I still haven't heard the "fast" corduroy that Vedder played a couple of times in 96.

I prefer Corduroy from the 95 tour, a little longer intro and slower. Perhaps it was Jack's drumming.

this.

after listening to a plethora of versions today, i like the old version the best where it builds slowly and turns into a solid jam by the end.

que?

i always thought the lyric was "can't" then today, to see which shows the song was played waybackwhen i went to the site and actually looked at the lyrics and felt that the "official" lyrics change the song (for me).
