(Note: I not sure where this goes)

A couple of days ago I was walking down Commercial Drive(a street in Vancouver) when I decided, on a whim, to go into one of the record stores. I was there that I found a copy of the 2000 Official Bootleg #72(Nov 6, Seattle). I finally got a chance to listen to it all the way through yesterday...IT WAS AWESOME! Have any of you stumbled upon any lucky finds?

I saw my penis for the first time in 6 years today. I'd say that was pretty lucky.

I got my No Code vinyl at Tower Records about a year after release. They had a display with a dozen or so sitting by the register at discounted price. They were just trying to sell out old inventory. I bought it simply because I wanted a larger copy of teh artwork. I've never played the record.

To think, some people actually spend lots of time and money in acquiring that one.

I actually found a few unopened ones at a record store in Quincy, Ma a few years ago. They were $12 each, and I purchased them all. I have them kicking around somewhere.

One lucky find I had was when I was at Bentley they had a box of records in front of the radio station they were giving away. Inside was the MLB "This Is Shangrila" promo.

My most recent find at a record store was the 3 cd Dissident case, and all 3 of the cd's. $7 for the lot.

I bought the no code vinyl simply because it was their in the record store. Deciding factor for me too was the larger polaroids.

I'm from Quincy, what record store was it? The now defunct Quincy Record and Tapes?

That is probably the one. It was on Hancock St.
